Torlift
The Post has a Torlift cover fitted, to enhance security. This to had been vandalised, taking photographs from the Entrance shaft vent it was found that the locking lever was missing

The locking lever was found, it was difficult to fathom how it attached to the cover

The locking lever was welded back on by Tom Sprowell of TB & B Anderton
A new locking level as a role model
A special tool is now required
The right hand spring has been removed as it was broken, the manufacturer Steelway, no longer supplies them and a replacement spring is being sourced by J Charnley & Sons,Specialist Agricultural Engineers and suppliers
